While we’re not exactly crafty individuals here, we definitely understand the value of crafts and other make-your-own hobbies. Between feeding creativity, improving coordination, and helping with concentration, crafts are great for individuals and bringing families together.
We’ve found two websites that provide craft and artisan ideas and classes, and they’re very affordable. They’reĀ Craftsy and Universal Class. These sites allow you to explore many different things to make yourself or take a class to learn how to.
Groupon provides deals for Craftsy every now and then, so make sure you check Groupon out if you’re interested in using Craftsy.
Universal Class actually provides more than 500 classes in many, many different subjects and fields. If crafts aren’t your cup of tea, there are many other options available, including cooking and even performing arts.
Our Make-Your-Own section in Idea Bandages also has several ideas for places to go to use and expand your creativity. Try something new. Sometimes something as simple as this can open you and your family to a whole new world and interest.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Family Bandage
I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your site. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a designer to create your theme? Outstanding work!
Thank you! We used one of Word Press’s available themes. We do like the cleanliness of it as well. Please visit often! We’ll keep posting!
Appreciating the time and effort you put into your blog and in depth information you present. It’s good to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same old rehashed material. Great read! I’ve saved your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.
Thank you! Please visit us often–and tell your friends!
Hello! Quick question that’s entirely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My weblog looks weird when browsing from my iphone. I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to correct this problem. If you have any suggestions, please share. Cheers!
Not a problem! The only way that I know how to make a site mobile-friendly is by an add-on that you can purchase through your hosting service. We didn’t purchase the add-on for our website, and WordPress provides that service for blogs. If you’re in need of something like that, we’d recommend Globat. We’ve used them for websites for about 5 years now and have been very pleased with them. Their customer service is outstanding. Within the last year they’ve had available add-ons for mobile-friendly sites. I hope this helps and answers your question. Take care!
